Medical Director- Primary Care-SMHC - MBH IP Contract

The Medical Director of Primary Care Services leads a team of advanced practice professionals (APPs) in providing ambulatory level medical care to psychiatric inpatients admitted to Maine Behavioral Health units and facilities.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Education: Graduate of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medical School. Completion of internship and Family Medicine residency.
License/Certifications: Current and valid licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine. Current and valid licensure as a physician by the Maine Board of Licensure in Medicine. Board certified or board eligible through the American Board of Family Medicine or American Board of Internal Medicine & American Board of Pediatrics as documented by written evidence. Current DEA Registration Certificate.
Experience: 3+ years' experience inclusive residency and/or fellowship training. Meets credentialing criteria defined in Medical Staff By-laws with their associated entity.
