Overview Great outcomes start with great people and Armor has an exciting opportunity for a Medical Director to lead our clinical team at York County Jail in Alfred, ME Responsibilities Provide and oversee medical diagnosis, treatment, procedures, and care of patients in a correctional facility Provide and manage direct medical patient care Maintain medical records and charts documenting all medical services rendered Direct, coordinate and supervise clinical services provided by professional staff; review and approve treatment protocols, clinical policies and procedures; and provide in-service training for the clinical staff Qualifications State license as a MD/DO Board Certified or Board Eligible DEA license Current CPR certification Supervisory experience in correctional health care preferred Proficient with electronic medical records Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen If you want to join an exciting, dynamic and growing organization that is making a positive impact on the lives we serve, we look forward to considering you for this opportunity and to be part of our team.
