Medical Biller

Jefferson Community Health & Life is looking for a Medical Biller. This position is in Fairbury Nebraska. This IS NOT a remote position. Full-time: Monday through Friday Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm QUALIFICATIONS: One year certification from college or technical school or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. High School Diploma Medical office experience, preferred. Must be able to type a minimum of 45 wpm. Knowledge of business and accounting processes. Effective communication skills, verbal and written. Good organization skills with ability to meet deadlines. Competent use of computer systems, software and 10 key calculators. POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for timely submission of medical claims to insurance companies and payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Commercial Insurances.
