Medical Assistant

Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with a Tri-State based Bariatric Organization that is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Medical Assistant opportunity near Glen Ridge, NJ. This organization has a leadership team of visionaries among the best in the business and a focus on a commitment to quality service to its patients.

Position: Medical Assistant

Duties:

Supports management and leadership

Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner

EMR (Electronic Medical Record) data entry

Obtaining vital signs on each patient

Assist physician with gathering patient history

Ensures patients are prepared for their planned procedures including proper education, follow-up plans and post procedure instructions

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) preferred

Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields

Bilingual - Spanish preferred
