Job DetailsOur medical facility is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical documentation accurately and efficiently
- Conduct PVR and blood draws with precision and care
- Collect and process urine samples for laboratory testing
- Assist with lab procedures and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Handle phone triage and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Schedule appointments and manage patient records
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPPA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Assist with other duties as assigned by physicians and healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certification required
- At least 3 years of experience in a medical facility
- Strong knowledge of clinical documentation and lab procedures
- Proficient in PVR, blood draws, and urine sample collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with scheduling software and electronic medical records
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPPA regulations
