ChristianaCare Sports & Lifestyle Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Newark & Chadds Ford locations.


ChristianaCare Sports and Lifestyle Medicine is located at both the Health Care Center at Christiana and Concord Health Center. The Health Care Center at Christiana is located at 200 Hygeia Drive in Newark, Delaware. The Concord Health Center address is 161 Wilmington West Chester Pike in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.


ChristianaCare Sports and Lifestyle Medicine physicians are here to help our patients pursue their goals for athletics and physical activity. You will help our patients maximize their performance, prevent, or recover from injuries, and overcome physical challenges they may face at home or work, such as the knee, shoulder, or foot pain. No matter what activity walking, bicycling, football, tennis, golf, lifting on the job, or running after their kids you will be joining a team that will be ready to partner with our patients in maintaining good health and fitness and preventing injuries.


As a medical assistant you will be responsible for assisting physicians in the examination and treatment of patients with virtual and on-site appointments. You will also be responsible to deliver quality patient care and to perform other clinical and clerical duties within the practice.


Work Schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 8am to 4:30pm
  • Wednesday from 8am to 6pm
  • All shifts will rotate between the Health Care Center at Christiana & the Chadds Ford location.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • A graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
