Medical Assistant

Auburn Memorial Medical Services, the largest medical group in Cayuga County, has immediate full time openings for Medical Assistants. Duties and responsibilities to include but are not limited to:

Obtain Medical HX

Vital signs

Verify meds/allergies

Collect and prepare lab specimens, including blood draws.

Sterilize medical instruments

Perform clerical duties; Check patients in/out, schedule appointments, answer phone, etc

Que meds to providers

Prepare exam rooms including stocking supplies

Prepare patient's record for visit, as directed by physician/provider.

Perform clinical duties in accordance with the scope of practice per CCMA certification and in accordance with NYS laws and regulations.

Certification preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
