Mechanical Piping Designer

Our client is seeking a skilled Mechanical Piping Designer with a minimum of 10 years of experience to play a key role in industrial pipeline projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing CADWorx software to design and develop piping systems. RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize CadWorx software to design and develop mechanical piping systems.

Create detailed drawings and layouts of parts and assemblies.

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in design.

Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop innovative solutions.

Conduct field surveys and gather relevant data for project planning and execution.

Generate technical specifications and documentation for procurement and installation.

Review and verify drawings for compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to address design-related issues.

Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Associate's degree from a Technical Institution preferred

Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Piping Designer including field experience

Experience in offshore oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing or refining industry

AutoCAD software experience required

Proficiency in CADWorx and PDMS software is essential.

Strong understanding of mechanical piping systems and design principles.

Demonstrated ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
