Position Summary: The selected candidate will gain exposure and hands-on experience in a diverse engineering team composed of electrical, mechanical, optical, software engineers through working on research, product design and life cycle management.


Key Responsiblities:

  • Perform 3D modeling and 2D drafting using Autodesk and Inventor software.
  • Coordinates and support engineering change process (ECR/ECN) and manage CAD database.
  • Conduct instrument performance tests
  • Analyze data, document results, and report
  • Hands on prototype creation and modification
  • Learn and grow professionally by working with subject technical experts

Requirements for Consideration:

  • Minimum 2-year full time training in an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • Previous Co-op or intern experience is preferred
  • Skilled in using MS Office suite tools
  • Preferred skilled in 2D drafting software AutoCAD, and 3D CAD modeling and drafting software Inventor, experience with other similar CAD and drafting tools acceptable.
  • Good understanding of data analysis and statistics
  • Understanding basic drafting standards, Preferred knowledge of ASME Y14.5-2018, Dimensioning and Tolerancing, Preferred knowledge of Geometric Tolerancing
  • Preferred basic knowledge of working with Sheet metal
  • Good prioritization and organization skills as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Able to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
