This candidate will provide engineering support and leadership of the site Crane and below-the-hook device engineering and safety programs, leadership of the Crane Inspection Crew, and engineering support to maintenance and operations beyond helping to restore flow.
This is a full time (direct hire) position with excellent benefits.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college/university.
- 5+ years engineering experience with mechanical systems, to include overhead gantry cranes, facilities and industrial infrastructure, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in equipment and component failure analysis.
- 3+ years of AutoCAD or similar CAD software experience.
- Engineering experience with cranes, hoists, rigging and below-the-hook lifting devices in heavy industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of heavy industrial equipment (rolling mills and material handling equipment preferred).
- Experience in justifying, managing and installing capital projects.
- Experience designing, installing, troubleshooting and maintaining industrial systems and equipment, including cranes, lifting and material handling, pumping, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Working knowledge of crane engineering, industry safety standards and related codes and specifications.
- Strong mechanical and structural engineering skills.
- Understanding of world class manufacturing techniques such as lean manufacturing, JIT, SPC, TQM, etc.
