Job Details

You should have/know some of the following:

• Running small projects from start to finish
• Design Custom Automated Processing Systems
• Designing, developing, and testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery
• Sourcing own components
• Working directly with clients on small - medium size projects
• Working on small - medium size full assemblies, subassemblies, single components, detailing part designs
• Prototyping, testing and validation of mechanical parts and subassemblies
• Validating subassemblies for Senior Engineer to include design, detailing and assembly of fixtures for assembly
• Analyzing the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems
• Investigating equipment failures
• Diagnosing faulty equipment or systems
• Developing project design and drawings
• Researching and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, or other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications
• Creating complete project documentation including drawings related to layout plans, elevation, data sheets and project specifications

MUST HAVE, experience with:

• Applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of mechanical systems
• Design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
• AutoCad and Solidworks 3D
• Project management
