Mechanical Engineer

We have partnered with a multi-disciplined engineering organization in the Akron, OH area to provide them with a Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
. At least 10 years or more of experience in the areas of power distribution, electrical area classification, arc flash studies and lighting and grounding design as it applies to the industrial facilities of our chemical, polymer and coatings clients.
. Familiar with designing for hazardous locations that contain flammable or combustible materials.
. No more than 3 jobs in the past 10 years

Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
Engineering/specification of mechanical equipment, including material handling equipment, pumps, pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and other process equipment
Pipe stress analysis/pipe support design
Lead Engineer for projects
Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and clients
Performs field work as needed

Requirements of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree
A minimum fifteen years experience
Experience in some or all of the areas of engineering mentioned above
Professional Engineering license a plus

Other Key Requirements:
Hybrid-office / remote schedule (In office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Possess a valid driver's license
No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
