Mechanical Design Intern

To carry out various design activities about concept design, design modifications, value engineering, 3D modeling & detailing, and coordination with an offshore team among others.

1. Good knowledge about sheet metal, machined and casting components manufacturing process.

2. Knowledge of engineering fundamentals of product design & development process.

3. Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up.

4. Very good hands-on experience in using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and detailing. Should have experience in using Design Tables for creating configurations of Parts/ Assemblies.

5. Experience of working in SolidWorks PDM or any other project data management software.

6. Coordination with offshore team and client engineers/ managers

7. Basic understanding about welding procedures and welding selection for sheet metal and structural parts.

8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
