Salary: $80,000 - $135,000 per year
A bit about us:We are a mechanical manufacturing/engineering firm focused on building custom door and window hardware solutions for unique projects throughout the US and Canada.
As a Mechanical Design Engineer on our team, you will be responsible for the design of custom mechanical hardware solutions related to door and window projects for our construction clients throughout the US. Key responsibilities include aiding in the design and development of new products, conducting incoming quality control checks, simulating products on applications, resolving quality control issues, updating drawing files and Bills of Materials, performing product testing, proposing enhancements to existing product designs, preparing project documentation, assisting with administrative tasks related to bill of materials and component assembly, conducting product installations for assessment, and verifying product components against drawings.

Job DetailsMUST HAVE:
- BS in a related field or equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of mechanical engineering/design experience
- AutoCAD and/or Pro E
- Mechanical hardware design
NICE TO HAVE:
- Fenestration industry experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for mechanical components
