Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements to provide appropriate heat exchanger selection
- Design heat exchangers for performance and manufacturability
- Prepare detail and assembly drawings
- Assist with manufacturing, assembling and testing prototypes and custom products.
- Interface directly with customer on technical and service issues
- Develop quotations for standard and custom products
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5-10 years' experience in a project-oriented environment.
- Excellent mechanical design skills, including stress analysis.
- Heat transfer and thermodynamics experience
- Familiarity with common industrial machining and welding processes.
- CAD software
- Creative and independent problem solver.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Good communication skills
