As a Mechanical Construction Project Manager, you will be playing a critical role in leading an internal self-perform group of pipefitters to construct the SEMI production facility. You will be managing an internal Tesla Construction team and will be asked to work cross-functionally, interfacing with base build, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering while tracking a project's schedule and budget. Lead a team consisting of Project Coordinators, Buyers, Superintendents, and craft Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide Conduct constructibility review of design packages Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project's goals Identify project risks and opportunities and actively manage through-out the project life cycle Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements are achieved Interface with engineering team, manufacturing teams, procurement, and commissioning teams Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent At least 10 years of experience in the mechanical field and 5 years' experience as a Project Manager Previous experience on $25M+ project Ability to provide material take offs and estimates from construction drawings Ability to read, interpret, and manage changes to Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams Proficiency in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance and variance analysis Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills
