Assembly Technician - $16 - $32/hr
This is a temp-to-hire position
Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced Machine Assembler for a fabrication client in Hobart, Indiana. There are 5 levels for this position. Pay is commensurate with experience. MUST BE ABLE TO READ A TAPE MEASURE TO THE 16TH, READ BLUPRINTS, CALCULATE FRACTIONS AND DECIMALS, AND USE HAND/POWER TOOLS
Responsibilities of Assembler
- Performs assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions
- Follows supervisors' instructions of work to be performed
- Self-inspects work to insure quality and compliance to specifications
- Uses computer to record assembly status
- Follows safety instructions and rules
- Works overtime and assigned shifts as needed
- Employees are responsible?to comply?with all requirements of QMS policies and procedures.
- Employees are to ensure sustainable process outputs that drive continuous improvement to provide leading industry performance and exceptional customer satisfaction
Location: Hobart, IN
Schedule/Shift Details
- Monday - Friday
- 2:30pm-11:00pm
Qualifications of Assembler
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience
- Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Knowledge of quality assurance and self-inspection techniques
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented
- Team orientation
- Crane operation experience preferred but not required
- Forklift operation experience preferred but not required
