JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Assembler: Assist in the mechanical assembly of Tompkins Robotics equipment.
Job description:
- Organize parts for assembly.
- Assemble parts to frames including rails, motors, sensors, electrical enclosure, safety panels, etc.
- Cooperate with Tompkins controls and mechanical engineers on solving issues as they arise.
- Complete a quality checklist.
- Prepare Equipment for shipping.
Job requirements:
- Must be able to use common hand tools (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Must be able to lift 50lbs max. & stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to follow assembly instructions.
What's in this for you?- Pay rate is $20.00 - 22.00.00 per hour depending on experience, plus overtime as needed.
