- Ensure their production lines are running smoothly throughout their shift with minimum downtime.
- Trouble shoot any processing issues that can cause downtime o Ability to learn, control and adjust machine settings.
- Machine Operator will always be present on assigned manufacturing line while production is running.
- Document any machine issues and communicate with Maintenance manager.
- Aid in machine repair with or without supervision.

Responsibilities
- Possesses advanced knowledge working with automated manufacturing equipment and ensuring minimal downtime (troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining).
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems to include disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and perform adjustments as necessary.
- Clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment and machinery.
- Disassemble machinery and/or equipment to remove parts to make repairs.
- Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
- Familiar with grinding and milling parts when needed
- Observe and test equipment operations to diagnose malfunctions and stoppages using voltmeters and other testing devices.
- Operate repaired equipment to verify adequacy of repairs.
