Local Manufacturing Company is seeking an additional Mechanic for their Maintenance Department.
Able to use tools wrenches to disassemble equipment to repair or replace the necessary parts, check performance, test damaged machine parts to determine whether major repairs are necessary using knowledge of hydraulics and basic electricity.
Perform PM (preventative maintenance) on machines.
Work closely with, other maintenance personnel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
HS diploma or GED.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are important. Good reading comprehension is necessary to understand technical manuals, read and interpret blueprints, and schematics. Able to climb ladder and lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, crouch, and climb several times a day. Good physical condition and agility required.
