Mechanic Helper

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics and technicians with repairing and maintaining vehicles, machinery, or equipment.
- Clean work areas, tools, and equipment regularly to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Fetch tools, parts, and supplies as needed for ongoing repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
- Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues by observing and reporting symptoms or abnormalities.
- Learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop.
- Support mechanics in disassembling and reassembling parts during repair and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each task.
- Assist in test-driving vehicles or equipment to verify repairs and ensure proper functioning.
- Continuously learn and improve mechanical skills by seeking guidance from experienced technicians and participating in training programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required.
- Previous experience in a mechanical or automotive environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with mechanics, supervisors, and customers.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures in the automotive industry.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required depending on the job requirements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
