Responsibilities MDS Registered Nurse (RN) Our facility is seeking a candidate for our MDS RN opening. This role will: Oversee and coordinate the development and completion of the member assessment (MDS) in accordance with current Federal and state regulations Coordinate and lead the development of a comprehensive member assessment and care plan for each member as chairperson of the community Interdisciplinary Plan of Care team Ensure the face validity of all Minimum Data Sets before electronic submission and combine the timely electronic submission of all MDS Conduct a monthly review of a random sample of the MDS to ensure accuracy and internal consistency with the medical records Benefits What's in it for you? Career ladders and career development opportunities. 401k with Match After Only 90 Days. 100% match up to 3%; 50% match up to 5% Medical (several great plans to choose from), dental, vision and life insurance Paid Time off and/or Vacation Time and Holiday Pay Benefits may vary based on employment status Qualifications Must be an active Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with a viable license in our state Must have at least 2 years' experience as a Nurse Knowledge in PPS assessment as well as OBRA compliance Demonstrates clinical assessment skills at the level necessary to meet the job requirements Ability to make independent decisions and follow through with limited supervision Knowledgeable and understanding of state and federal regulations and guidelines governing the practices of the facility Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with an interdisciplinary care team Able to relate positively, favorably and cooperatively with others, including, members, family members, associates and personnel of outside agencies and organizations We are a vaccinated care facility.
