Math Teacher

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Math Teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour

Shifts Details:

Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Math Teacher to join our team at Staff Today a division of Health Advocates Network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a passion for helping students succeed in the subject. The Math Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, providing one-on-one support to students, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver comprehensive math lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards

Use a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities

Provide individualized support to students who need extra help in math concepts

Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and homework assignments

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about student performance and progress

Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field (Master's degree preferred)

Teaching certification or license in math

Previous experience teaching math at the middle or high school level

Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of curriculum standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to motivate and inspire students to excel in math
