Materials Analyst

Materials Analyst:

The Materials Analyst is responsible for providing excellent service to internal and external customers by effectively communicating and using in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. This position contributes to the quality and productivity of Customer Service and the achievement of sales goals by efficiently handling sample requests, sales orders and bonding trails when dealing with customer queries, fielding calls and handling website activity.

Essential Functions:
- Services customer needs on quotes, samples, production products, pricing, and delivery
- Coordinates in-house activities necessary to satisfy customer's needs
- Provides feedback to customers regarding delivery and status of orders
- Assists Sales and Accounting departments as needed
- Enters orders into the company's ERP system
- Responds to requests for information from internal and external customers
- Assists with updating and maintaining customer information in ERP in system

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
- Minimum of three years recent customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills, including active listening
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, experience with ERP systems, and the ability to learn new software
- Attention to detail with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
