Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability. Job Summary: As a Material Receipt and Shipping Specialist your job responsibilities will include the following: Monitoring material arrivals to ensure proper processing in timely manner. Reporting and documenting any damage. Tagging / identifying material by contract/program and GFE/GFM as applicable. Ensuring receipt documentation concurs with material. Performing goods receipt in SAP PRISM/APEX. Communicating discrepancies to supply chain and stakeholders. Forwarding received material to inspection. Preparing shipments in accordance with contract specified packing requirements where applicable. Process shipments using established carrier. Completing delivery traveler to decrement material inventory as appropriate. This job is based at the Raytheon facility in Poulsbo, WA. This position is posted as ONSITE. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Additional responsibilities will include the following: Prepare items for shipping, noting item contents, delivery methods, and other logistical details using proper procedures and materials.
Receive, check, store, issue and ship a variety of items.
Use assistance and/or powered mechanical means (including forklifts) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material.
Proficiency with computer hardware/software.
Maintain contact with personnel from various customers and support areas to ensure accuracy of material/process.
Use assorted measuring and weight recording devices.
Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean.
Work independently and within a team.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Adherence to all EH&S regulations and policies as well as attendance at required training courses related to EH&S. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2 year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant material movement experience.
Experience shipping and packing hazardous materials for domestic and/or international movement.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Previous Material Receiving and Shipping experience.
Experience with shipping and packing hazardous materials for domestic and international movement.
Strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
