Summary

Cut and build packages of engineered wood products in an outdoor setting year round, by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain and inspect chainsaws and other tools

Read and understand order and materials

Pull material for orders

Measure and cut material

Mark cutoffs, if applicable

Build, band and distinguish pack by hand or with forklift operators assistance

Label packs with appropriate customer information

Cut blocks for flat packs, if applicable

Replace banding in carts when empty

Load CPUs and unload cars and trucks for both EEWP stock and the reload.

General Housekeeping and Office related tasks

Maintain clean, safe work environment

Ability to work both independently as well as within a team

Miscellaneous projects as assigned

Sweep and maintain yard/warehouse

Pick up litter, lumber waste, cardboard and other waste and dispose of in proper receptacle(s)

Inventory Cycle counting, maintenance and control

Order processing and documentation

Filing (electronic and manual)

Photocopying

Requirements

No experience necessary. Knowledge of building lumber packs and experience in a lumber/steel yard and/or loading and unloading trucks is preferred.
