Job Purpose: To operate forklifts safely and efficiently; handles all freight inbound or outbound properly and orderly; maintain warehouse area with orderly stacking and good housekeeping; loading/unloading of RJW truck/trailers and outside carriers safely and using proper procedures; ensures all shipments are correctly staged, checked, and loaded properly; responsible for properly storing stock in the warehouse; performs duties to provide material handling services for warehouse shipping and receiving handling activities. Works from warehouse operations sheets using a forklift to pick customer orders and load on trailers. Maintains forklift safety at all times following all safety policies and procedures.

- General understanding of computers and handheld RF equipment.
- He/she must be able to read, write, and understand English.
- Attention to detail and quality a must.
- Good communication, clear and concise, problem resolution, and people skills.
- Flexibility in working overtime when needed, and supplying coverage to other shifts.
- PC skills helpful.
- Major experience on EPJs/reach truck
- Experience in building pallets with stock and breaking down stock to fill independent orders.
- Experience in cross docking freight process.
- Ability to work in a fast paced warehouse.
Qualifications
- 3-6 months of forklift driving experience in a warehouse using Electric Pallet Jacks (EPJs)/reach truck
- Good stable work record.
Education and/or Experience Required:
- High School Diploma or general education diploma (GED).
- Warehousing certifications a plus.
