JOB SUMMARY: The MA/MS Licensed Therapist will develop comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments clinically responsive to age appropriate patient/family needs and concerns to commensurate with knowledge in the substance abuse/mental health field. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the tasks performed within this classification with or without an accommodation. Complete psychosocial assessment on each consumer within designated time frame of admission. Collaborate with other professionals to evaluate consumers' medical or physical condition and to assess needs. Provide documentation of clinical and case management services in accordance with department standard. Participate with the interdisciplinary team in developing and implementing clinical treatment plans for consumers. Serve as consumer advocate for needs within the community. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Education:
•  Master's degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology, Counselor Education, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or other relevant Human Service Field required Licensure required as Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist valid in FL Experience:
•  Minimum ofTwo (2) years of direct clinical experience preferable in a health or mental health setting with an emphasis on population to be served in the assigned area Driving Requirements: Must be Over the age of 21 required Minimum of 5-years driving experience required Possess a Valid FL Driver's license (within 30 days of hire if currently do not possess) Possess a continuously valid US Driver's license for the past three years, from date of issue required Safe Driving record required TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Completes all requirements according to Individual Training Plan within the first six months of hire and annually. Other training and/or professional development may be assigned due to evolution of programs.
