Job DescriptionWe are actively seeking Commercial/Industrial Plumbers well versed in commercial, residential, and government projects. We are looking to fill positions in the Panama City area.
Pay is $25-$27 an hour based on experienceJob Duties
- Commercial/Industrial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale commercial construction projects
- Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures before installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas, or other liquids.
- Interpret blueprints and building specifications required for each job site.
- Use of copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX and other piping.
- Duties could include setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, and utility hook ups, etc.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Commercial and or Industrial plumbing experience
- Journeyman plumbing license, preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
- Possess hand tools and trade specific tools
- Ability to direct the work of a helper or apprentice
- Able to work from ladders and man lifts from various heights and operate equipment as needed
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up-to 50 lbs.
General Requirements
- Ability to pass a full background screening, MVR and drug screening
- Ability to pass a physical ability test
- Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedule (including weekends, as required by project).
