We can take any project from start to finish with our full design team, and experienced tradesman and contractors.

Part 2: Hoskinson Ranch and associated companies are in the mountain region of Wheatland, Wyoming. Our organization was created to bring innovation to a traditionally rural environment and provide some elements of agricultural support to the community. To ensure proper development, we are pursuing long-term expansion plans on the existing Ranch grounds.

This position will include work in both Gillette and Wheatland. Applicant must have experience in residential and commercial settings and capable of traveling as required.

Job Summary
The Master Plumber is a vital member of the construction industry, responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, and commercial buildings. This role is crucial as it ensures that all plumbing systems operate efficiently, safely, and comply with all local building codes and regulations. The Master Plumber plays a significant role not only in new construction but also in renovations and repairs, making this position critical for the success and functionality of any building project.

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to apprentice and journeyman plumbers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their tasks.
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage plumbing projects, including estimating material and labor costs.
  • Analyze building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials.
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of plumbing technicians and apprentices.
  • Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of project details, including materials used and work hours.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to determine project requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior plumbing staff.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Experience, & Education Requirements:
  • Master plumbers license or ability to obtain
  • Ability to read construction plans
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Acceptable MVR and background check status.
  • OSHA 10 certification or willing to obtain
  • Able to travel as required
  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Well organized and ability to work independently

Direct Report: This position will report to the Contracting Management Team.

Physical Requirements:
  • Work in various settings, including residential and commercial locations.
  • May be exposed to outdoor conditions and work in confined spaces.
  • Possible work during evenings, weekends, or emergencies.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

  • Hourly Compensation: We are offering a highly competitive, negotiated hourly rate based on experience.
