Master Plumber Field Service Manager

This is a direct hire, fully remote role working out of the sourthern California area (from south of Bakersfield, CA area).

This role requires 70% travel. Car and cell phone allowance provided.

Looking for a Master Plumber with 5+ years of experience installing and repairing residential and commercial plumbing products, with prior expeirence training and managing other field service plumbers or looking to move into a lead training and management role.

For this role you will be working with and training a network of authorized plumbers installing products at customer sites. You will work to grow the service network and oversee upgrades and new service installations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Establish an authorized service network in sourthern CA region for in home and onsite service of plumbing products

Negotiate labor rates for authorized service agreements

Monitor the quality of service being provided by authorized service agents

Provide ongoing technical training to sales representatives, customers, installers,

and authorized Service agents

Provide support on major product install projects ensuring proper sizing and correct

installation of products used in the project

Interface with local code officials to address and work through identified code issues

REQUIREMENTS

Experienced Master Plumber with at least 5 years of installing and servicing residential & commercial water heater systems with emphasis in installing, troubleshooting, and servicing tankless units and boilers

Must have Plumbing, HVAC Gas certification/license: (C-36 Plumbing License, City License, or State License)

Experience training and developing technicians, installers, or contractors: product training, installations, and servicing. It would be great if they have training experience in front of large trade professionals/ groups.

Excellent communication and presentation skills

High degree of technical and analytical skills.

Ability to travel up to 70% and submit expenses for reimbursement weekly.

High level of personal integrity and honesty
