Position Description

Responsible for developing the 3-12-month operations (demand) forecasts for Pinnacle products to align product supply with demand. Provide insight, metrics and documentation to support the Sales and Operations Planning process. Facilitate ongoing consensus dialogue with Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to improve product delivery while managing inventory and freight expenses. Be a leader and owner of the SIOP process and develop utilization of NetSuite and MRP capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Solicit and compile forecast input from Sales and Product Management. Integrate input with historical demand patterns to create data-driven forecasts for a 3-12-month time horizon.
Coordinate with sales, purchasing, planning, and operations teams at global plants and OEM factories to align supply with requirements, while balancing inventory investment.
Be a leader in the SIOP process and develop utilization of NetSuite and ERP capabilities.
Accountable for the forecast in NetSuite and Part number attributes in NetSuite for item classification to ensure MRP success.
Create and share common reports, queries, whiteboards and spreadsheets to improve real-time visibility and decision-making for the sales, operations and leadership teams.
Provide promise date commitments to Sales organization for Sales orders in NetSuite.
Proactively identifying gaps in forecasts, orders, inventory, capacity, and lead times. Take the lead to recommend actions to close the gaps. Devise and introduce long term strategies to prevent reoccurrence.
Assist in managing the product lifecycles by collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product transitions/improvements.
Recommend distribution strategies to improve lead times while minimizing freight and inventory.
Lead improvements in forecast and fulfillment processes that further business growth and profit levels.
Provide direction and guidance to Assembly Planners for creation of Work Orders to fulfill demand and to Supply Chain for Direct Import products.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Performance Indicators:

Ship On-Time to customers, Inventory levels, attainment of monthly sales plan.
Forecast accuracy.
Minimal air or expedited freight costs
Response time to inquiries from Customer Service (Sales) group.
Forecasts provided to factories with adequate lead time and accuracy to allow them to prepare, manufacture and ship on time
Sufficient inventory to fill orders within lead time in peak season with minimal inventory at the end of the season

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
ASCM(APICS) CPIM certification preferred.
5 plus years of experience in demand planning or other supply chain role in an ERP environment
Strong working knowledge of ERP systems. Working knowledge of NetSuite preferred.
Ability to pull together historical sales data and coordinate close with sales team and sales forecasts
Strong analytical skills, experience with large data sets and advanced data analysis using EXCEL
Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
Ability to summarize data in graphical format to show trends and patterns to allow quick decision making.
Process-oriented. Seeks out, introduces and owns best practice improvements.

Excellent English communication skills, including strong written and presentation skills.
