Job Details

We're hiring a Mason Foreman with expertise in brick and block construction. As the Foreman, your role is to lead a team of masons and oversee projects to ensure they're completed successfully. Your main focus will be on commercial construction. We need someone who can read plans, coordinate with other professionals, and enforce safety regulations. Your skills in brick and block work will be essential for maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of masons in commercial brick and block construction projects.
  • Read plans and ensure accurate execution of masonry tasks.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors.
  • Oversee installation of bricks, blocks, and other materials.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and train junior masons.
  • Manage material procurement and estimate project costs.
  • Conduct inspections and address any issues.
  • Collaborate with other trades and communicate project progress.
  • Maintain project records and stay updated with industry trends.

Requirements
  • Experience as a Mason Foreman in brick and block construction.
  • Knowledge of commercial masonry techniques.
  • Ability to read plans and follow specifications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Understanding of safety regulations.
  • Expertise in brick and block selection.
  • Ability to estimate materials and costs accurately.
  • Proficiency in using masonry tools and equipment.
  • Organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
