Position Overview: As a Face-to-Face Fundraising Specialist, you will be at the forefront of our mission, connecting with potential donors in person to inspire them to contribute to our cause. This role demands excellent communication skills, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a difference.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with the public at events, street campaigns, and various public spaces to raise awareness about our cause and encourage donations.
- Clearly articulate our organization's mission, projects, and impact to potential donors.
- Build authentic connections with individuals, addressing their inquiries and concerns with empathy.
- Meet and exceed fundraising targets through effective persuasion and relationship-building techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions.
- Collaborate with the fundraising team to provide valuable insights and feedback from face-to-face interactions.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in face-to-face fundraising, sales, or customer service is not required but advantageous.
