Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Insulators for projects located in and around Atlantic Beach, FL. This is a first shift opportunity with a pay range of up to $22/hour based on experience plus $110/Per Diem to Travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
- Install Pre-Formed Pipe Covering on Various Piping Systems
- Perform Layout and Installation of Bulkhead, Overhead
- Ventilation Ducting Insulation
- Take Measurements and Fabricate Portable Pads for Various Valves, Fittings, and Tanks
- Apply Final Coating, Mastic Cement, etc. to Insulating Materials to Provide Finished Product
- Install Sheet Insulation Boards to Bulkheads and Overheads after Preliminary Preparation has been accomplished
- Layout and Positioning of Studs
- Remove Existing Insulation from Machinery, Piping Systems, Boilers, and Bulkheads and Overhead Compartments, Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
Requirements:
- Capable of using Basic Hand Tools of the Trade
- Able to Read Standard Measuring Tape and/or Ruler
- Familiarity with Ship Board Nomenclature
- Able to Access all Navy Installations and other Shipyards
- Reliable Means of Transportation
- Able to Work Evening and Weekend Hours
- Able to Lift up to 50 Pounds
