We are seeking a Marine HVAC Technician to join our team in Portsmouth, RI. The Candidate must

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, install and repair Marine systems including Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Sanitation, Pumps, Water Heaters, Water makers, Holding Tanks, Water Tanks, and Fuel Tanks,

Responsible for servicing product and equipment on yachts and ensuring customer satisfaction in a diverse setting of every type of boat.

Performs installations, repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of marine HVAC and refrigeration systems.

Assembles, installs, troubleshoots and repairs all types of heating and air conditioning systems, including water makers, chillers, and a number of sanitations systems.

Must be capable of reading and following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.

Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products onboard yachts of all sizes.

Performs preventative maintenance, surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers or management to properly maintain and service the equipment.

Prepares for on-site installation and repairs by examining yacht layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work, as necessary.

Determines parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.

Keeps current on all company and or customers equipment and products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair while maintaining all necessary training to support dealership status.

Provides technical support to customers and coworkers.

Comply with service standards according to ABYC specifications.




High school diploma or GED

5 years relevant experience preferred.

Ability to install complete mechanical systems; have a drive and desire to meet or complete projects ahead of schedule and budget with no rework.

Candidate will work independently to complete projects, while still being a team player.
