Position Summary: Entry Level & Experienced Clean Room Production Operators -12-hour night shift, including weekends and holidays The primary responsibility will be to operate production equipment to produce high-quality ultra-pure silicon wafers in accordance with customer specifications. Successful candidates must possess skills and abilities sufficient to learn manufacturing issues and setups. These include equipment setups, process troubleshooting, and general problem-solving in daily manufacturing activities. Must be able to assist in continuous improvements with the equipment, processes, and yields. We will train you on equipment and chemical safety, Statistical Process Control methods, cleanroom protocol, and wafer handling, etc. Must have effective written and verbal communication to review and clearly deliver information in a timely manner. Candidates will be assessed on basic math, reading, and computer skills. To ensure a safe work environment while meeting the physical demands of the job, you must be able to perform the following tasks: Abilit to Lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds Ability to bend, twist, crouch, and kneel as required Ability to continuously stand and walk the entire shift Requires a minimum High School diploma, or equivalent, and a minimum of one (1) year experience in working in a fast-paced, stand on your feet, all shift, work environment - fast food industry is a good example of previous work experience. Work schedule includes weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime, which may be mandatory. Base pay starts at $18.50/hour depending on relevant experience, plus 15% Night Shift Differential.
