Job Description Manufacturing Operator - Flexible Pipe Systems Do you enjoy being the face of a world class manufacturing team that ensures the highest quality? Our team ensures high quality, consistency and reliability for all products throughout the complete life-cycle of our flexible pipe systems manufacturing. Partner with the best As a Manufacturing Operator for FPS, you will, under direct supervision, monitor and operate various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements in order to assist in and streamline the manufacturing process. As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for: Setting up, monitoring and operating various pieces of equipment -rewind, tapeline, packager, tape/braider, magline, plastic extruder, PCPinjection Operating multiple machines at one time Repairing ,patching or splicing cable Performing quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements Reading and interpreting routine instructions Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Be able to read and interpret routine instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations Have a good mechanical aptitude and experience using general hand tools and precision measuring equipment Be able to operate material moving equipment/overhead crane and/or be able to obtain certification Have a High School Diploma or equivalent Possess a minimum of 6 months of previous manufacturing experience Work in a way that works for you We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
