Manufacturing Operator $18/hour + $1.75 Shift Differential 2nd Shift (2pm-10pm), Full Time Build a successful career at Americhem. Americhem manufactures and sells thermoplastic color compounds and is looking for Extrusion Operators in Cuyahoga Falls, OH. The Extrusion Operator is responsible for processing products from non-complex color compounds in a safe and efficient manner, according to specifications and procedures. Our Operators specialize in setting up, operating, and tending extruding machines to process a variety of products that our customers use to manufacture a vast array of finished products. Experience: 1-2 years of manufacturing experience is preferred. The professionals we seek will be responsible for the following: Hold safety in highest regard by making good safety decisions, following safety procedures, watching out for the safety of self and others, contributing to safety improvements, and participating in safety programs. Produce compound samples according to specifications by using production equipment, devices, and instruments (extruders, scales, feeders, classifiers, pelletizers, dies, visual display units, dials, and calibrators). Keep machinery and mechanical equipment operational by performing preventative maintenance tasks on machine and equipment. Add color mix to the feeder by using a tow motor/forklift to lift the color pot up to the platform and setting it in the proper slot. Comply with established safety protocols as outlined in our policies, procedures, and corporate communications. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Team Lead.
