Maintenance Supervisor
Job Summary
Supervises a combination of two or more of the following: machine shop, tool making, maintenance, electrical, or other skilled employees.
Job Duties
Responsible for equipment repairs, coordinating routine maintenance on all facility machinery, completing equipment installation, upgrades and maintenance as required. Following through with training and development of staff, including; estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.
Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices
Lead and direct the work of other employees
Typically have some full authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions
Typically require accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 5 or more years of experience

Physical Requirements Include standing for long periods of time. Ability to get into congested areas and evaluate and/or troubleshoot equipment. Frequent bending, twisting, reaching and lifting.
