Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
3. Collaborate with design engineering regarding product tooling and design to ensure effective production methods.
4. Implement Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methods such as Kaizen, 5S, and value stream mapping to enhance manufacturing quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
5. Conduct root cause analysis of manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
6. Participate in cross-functional teams to execute product development plan.
7. Develop and maintain detailed work instructions for assigned products/processes. Dispositions discrepant hardware. Investigates root cause of discrepancies and implements corrective actions.
8. Perform failure analysis, as needed, for product returns to determine root cause and corrective actions.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
2. A minimum of 2 years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
3. Proven experience with manufacturing processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and root cause analysis.
4. Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
7. Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CAD software.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
