RCO Engineering is looking for a Hungry, Humble, & Smart Manufacturing Engineer that likes to get their hands, dirty, yet also has the ability to develop and present data sets for making effective business decisions. Responsibilities:

  • Eliminate Waste with Tools, Technology & Talent.
  • Develop and implement Manufacturing Plans (New Work).
  • Manage multiple active Manufacturing Plans (Current Work).
  • Play a key role in launch of new business within the Manufacturing floor.
  • Perform formal and informal designs of experiments.
  • Develop process metrics and present results to business stakeholder.
  • Protect the Manufacturing Environment from cost, quality and delivery risks.
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • Collaborate with cross functional managers to adjust and improve process.
  • Work with estimating to develop competitive cost estimates.
  • Research new technology and processes.
  • Train staff in current and new processes.
  • Act as a liaison for the operation on new program launches.
  • Follow Advanced Quality Planning Protocol (APQP)
  • Develop and sustain PFMEA's.
  • Develop and sustain Capacity Plans (Equipment).
  • Value stream mapping.
  • Other tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in an environment regulated by IATF 19649 and/or AS9100. Certifications.
  • Has a proven track record in launching programs on the plant floor.
  • Has a proven track record for developing manufacturing plans.
  • Someone who can clearly demonstrate an ability to solve problems.
  • Is highly ambitious and values innovation and creative thinking.
  • Excellent Microsoft office computer skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, PFMEA and root cause analysis in Manufacturing.

Education:

  • Must have a Degree in Engineering with at least 3 years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer.
