Manufacturing Engineer

Growing Manufacturing Co in the Cookeville, TN area has a need for a Sr Manufacturing Engineer. This is a direct hire role with a full benefits package and relocation.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our production line. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and utilize your technical expertise to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Responsibilities: Develop and implement manufacturing processes and procedures to improve productivity and reduce costs Identify and resolve production issues, ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime Design and optimize production layouts, equipment, and tooling to maximize efficiency Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new product launches Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality and process-related issues Evaluate and select suppliers, ensuring the highest quality standards are met Participate in the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles Provide technical support and guidance to production operators and maintenance teams Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and apply them to enhance our manufacturing processes Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and welding Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
