Job Number 662338BR Description: Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. Be More Than You Can Imagine . As a director over wing structures and mate, you will be responsible for all direct touch, leadership, and manufacturing support personnel in support of Wing Structure and Wing Mate Operations. Drive overall culture, strategy, and execution for manufacturing of F-35 Wing Components. Serve as Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) lead for Control Account Managers (CAMs) within the Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), to include 40+ separate control accounts valued at $200+M of direct, touch labor and indirect labor budgets. Lead Lower Tier Sr. Managers, Technical Leads, and Manufacturing activities including facility and capital planning, tool utilization manufacturing plans, work flows, crew loading, and compliance adherence. Responsible for strategic development and plan execution for the expansion from LRIP phases into Full Rate Production (FRP) in both stations and personnel for both the Wing Structures and Wing Mate operational stations. Overall strategy and execution for manufacturing, as well as the transition into Full Rate Production (FRP). Coordinates as required with the Functional Organization, Production Engineering, other support organizations, and the Training Department in order to develop and deploy employees who are qualified and capable to perform assigned tasks in support of Wing Ops operations. The F-35 Wing Ops director will set direction and execution of the continuous improvement framework for the areas. The F-35 Wing Ops Director will closely coordinate with the F-35 Wing Systems Director and the F-35 Wing-Carry-Thru Director for upstream and downstream integration. Lead line staffing planning, facility and capital planning, Tech. Insertion and tool utilization, manufacturing plans, work flows, and crew loading activities.
Sponsor employee engagement and recognition, talent development, training, and qualification activities for Production personnel.
Achieve Enterprise Business Key Results in Safety, Quality SRR/Defects/OPQL, FO Prevention, 6S, Component Delivery, Factory Flow, Business/Digital Transformation to include AI Scheduling, Total Cost Management, and Operational Excellence & Enterprise Integration Initiatives. Assigns work priority through the Senior Manager leaders, driving cross-functional strategy and execution with CAM's, manufacturing planning, manufacturing engineers, industrial engineers, quality engineers, manufacturing test engineers, production control, and other support organizations. Ensures adherence to company and JSF program policies & procedures. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. This position will require a clearance. Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in a complex Production or related environment.
• Experience in technical and strategic leadership

• Experience with manufacturing execution in difficult environments (i.e. managing a union shop, increasing volumes, significant labor increases, inconsistent material supply, producibility and/or quality challenges.)
Desired Skills:

• Bachelors degree.
• 10 years proven experience in a complex Production or related environment.
• Aircraft Production Operations experience.
• Production Operations process experience.

• Uses good judgment, makes timely and sound decisions.
• Builds effective teams committed to program and organizational goals.
• Understands financial impacts of decisions and actions of the team.
• Problem solving, root cause, corrective action and continuous improvement. Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
