Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing department and ensuring the assembly process runs smoothly. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians and ensuring that they are meeting production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of skilled technicians in the manufacturing department
  • Ensure that the assembly process runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Monitor production targets and quality standards
  • Implement and maintain a Continuous Improvement Process to increase efficiency and reduce defects
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and eliminate production issues
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve the skills of the manufacturing team
  • Ensure that safety regulations are followed at all times
  • Maintain equipment and tools to ensure that they are in good working condition
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production targets are met

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Tool & Die Making is preferred
  • Proven experience as an assembly supervisor
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience in defect reduction and implementing Continuous Improvement Process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
