Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor to join our team in the manufacturing industry. As a Permanent Manufacturing Assembly Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing department and ensuring the assembly process runs smoothly. You will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians and ensuring that they are meeting production targets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of skilled technicians in the manufacturing department
- Ensure that the assembly process runs smoothly and efficiently
- Monitor production targets and quality standards
- Implement and maintain a Continuous Improvement Process to increase efficiency and reduce defects
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify and eliminate production issues
- Develop and implement training programs to improve the skills of the manufacturing team
- Ensure that safety regulations are followed at all times
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure that they are in good working condition
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that production targets are met
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in Tool & Die Making is preferred
- Proven experience as an assembly supervisor
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis
- Experience in defect reduction and implementing Continuous Improvement Process
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
