Manufacturing Accountant needed for profitable company.

Manufacturing Accountant:

  1. Manage and reconcile manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
  2. Analyze production costs and variances to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  3. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of the manufacturing operations.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost control measures and process improvements.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards related to manufacturing operations.
  6. Support month-end and year-end close processes, including inventory valuation and reconciliation.
  7. Provide financial analysis and decision support to management for strategic planning and decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
