Manufacturing Accountant:
- Manage and reconcile manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
- Analyze production costs and variances to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of the manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost control measures and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards related to manufacturing operations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including inventory valuation and reconciliation.
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to management for strategic planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
