Starrett Tru-Stone Technologies is currently seeking a MANUAL MILL MACHINIST FOR OUR 2ND SHIFT. We are looking for detail oriented, quality minded candidates to join our team.

Come build products using granite and other materials to be used in the semi-conductor and other industries. You will work in our state-of-the-art, climate controlled facility located in Waite Park, Minnesota. We are in close proximity to St. Cloud, Sartell, Sauk Rapids, Clearwater and other central Minnesota cities/towns.

This is a 2nd shift position. Hours are 1:30pm to 11:30pm, Monday - Thursday.

2nd shift comes with a 15% hourly shift differential. This position comes with a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus PLUS an additional $1000.00 for 2nd shift.

What will you do in this position?
The focus of this position is running a manual drill with the possibility of operating other machines as needed. Monitor products on a continuous basis to ensure products are of prescribed quality and meet both Customer and Company expectations, requirements, and standards.

How will you do it?
Follow established work procedures, and perform work assignments (as required) to meet all Starrett Tru-Stone safety, quality and production goals.
Lift, position and secure pieces on tables using bolts, jigs, clamps, shims, or other holding devices.
Activate and observe drilling, saw or grinding machine operations and adjust as needed.
Study machining instructions, job orders, and blueprints to determine dimensional and finish specifications.
Verify/inspect conformance of machined work to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and fixed gauges.
Apply rounds, chamfers and deburr products during cycle times.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Maintain all tools and inspection equipment per established procedures and requirements.

Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and oral.
Ability to comprehend technical topics and specialized information.
High school diploma. Geometry.
Trade school or equivalent related experience.
Related experience a must.
