Summary:

Vaxcyte is seeking to hire a talented individual to join our Human Resources team. The Manager, Talent Development will develop and manage our people development programs to ensure they align with the company's priorities and support the development and success of our employees. You will be part of a team focused on managing our onboarding and leadership development programs, supporting team effectiveness and employee development, and ensuring our programs and frameworks support the broader company priorities. This role contributes to the health and success of the organization by proactively collaborating with key stakeholders (HR leadership, HR business partners, department heads, etc.) to develop and execute learning strategies and programs.
Essential Functions:
•  Manage the company onboarding program - designing the overall experience, facilitating selected topics, creating/updating onboarding resources and supporting team onboarding within departments.
•  Support employee development at all levels of the organization by identifying, curating, and designing appropriate tools, frameworks, resources and workshops.
•  Facilitate workshops, team working sessions and leader integrations.
•  Manage the Employee Career Development Program.
•  Oversee Vaxcyte's monthly Lunch & Learn Series.
•  Own Talent Development components on our intranet site and ensure employees have access to TD resources in a clear and focused way.
•  Leverage innovative learning technologies and methodologies to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
•  Analyze existing L&D programs/materials to identify opportunities for enhancement or innovation.
•  Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
•  Work on special projects in support of HR initiatives that align with company priorities.
Requirements:
•  Bachelors' degree in related field of study, with a minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience in the talent development or learning and development field.
•  In-depth knowledge and applied background in building and implementing learning, development, and training programs with strong facilitation experience.
•  Proven curriculum development and instructional design skills.
•  Experienced in building and managing effective onboarding programs.
•  Strong program and project management and execution skills.
•  Ability to connect with a breadth of employee perspectives and experiences.
•  Proven success in working collaboratively across functions to make a positive impact on culture.
•  Organized, able to prioritize work and balance multiple competing priorities.
•  Demonstrates the highest level of customer service while modelling Vaxcyte's values.
•  Technology savvy.
•  Reputation for integrity and dedicated work ethic with desire for ownership of process and product success.
•  Team player, willing to adapt based on business needs.
•  Must be able to work onsite 2 days per week or more as needed.

Compensation:
The compensation package will be competitive and includes comprehensive benefits and an equity component.

Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000
