Job description:

Reporting to the VP of Strategic Operations, this position supports the development and implementation of the key strategic planning process, working across stakeholders to answer strategic questions, prioritize initiatives, develop 3-year vision & roadmap and enterprise KPIs. This person will also support the VP of Strategic Operations in the development of product strategy (at the division and category level), ongoing management enterprise KPIs, quarterly business reviews and execution of high priority cross-functional strategic initiatives and projects that stem from the strategic planning process. This person has experience in strategic planning, market & business analysis and working across internal and external stakeholders. Problem solver (analytical & financial acumen) and exceptional communication skills are key elements of the position.

Key responsibilities:

Support in development of long-range strategy and planning, corporate vision & roadmap:

Conduct macro trends analysis & forecasting to support inputs to 3-year financial plan

Conduct industry/market assessments (TAM, share, size of prize) to inform areas of near-term and longer-term opportunity & risks across category, geographic, and channel

Leverage existing & brainstorm new data sources to triangulate assumptions and drive insights

Conduct relevant financial analysis to support development of enterprise KPIs

Develop materials to support comms of long-term strategy, strategic growth pillars & roadmap

Support in ongoing management & execution of key strategic initiatives and projects:

Communicate corporate strategy approach & roadmap with key stakeholders

Spearhead ongoing project management by working closely with functional leads to develop key questions & analysis to answer, manage ongoing workstreams & execute against plans

Track and report relevant KPIs across key strategic initiatives and projects

Support in embedding monthly business reviews (MBR) / quarterly business reviews (QBR)

Support in development of materials for MBR / QBR

Support in development of product strategy (opportunity & how to win):

Partner with Merchandising to develop long-term product strategy

Conduct competitive analysis, and market analysis to inform product opportunity

Double click into consumer data to support product opportunity

Outline prioritized set of initiatives & roadmap to execute against

Experience required:

Bachelor's Degree Required, Honors / Masters degree in Business / Commerce preferred

3+ years experience in top-tier consulting firm or investment bank preferred

Retail or Consumer Products experience preferred

Significant modeling experience (e.g., market models, P&L)

Strong analytical & financial acumen, including ability to develop strategic insights & materials

Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in written form

Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to drive work planning and ensure quality output for yourself and others

$125,000 - $135,000 a year
