The principal role of the Manager of Parish Partnerships (MPP) is to foster relationships with Catholic parishes, schools, organizations, and key donors while also creating new strategic partnerships that will bring increased funding and engagement for the foundation. The position will provide strategic support, carefully shepherding partnerships through formative stages while developing and executing creative strategies to advance our mission through Catholic community engagement. As a member of St. Anthony's Mission Integration Team, the MPP will educate and inspire others to our mission and values, enlivening the spirit of St. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi among all who serve and are served in the Foundation. As such, the MPP assists with Mission Integration events, including spiritual programs, educational workshops, resources, and events for guests, staff, donors, and volunteers that articulate and reflect St. Anthony's Catholic identity and Franciscan charism. The MPP reports directly to the Director of Mission and is a member of St. Anthony's Mission Integration team. The MPP will work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer, Development, and Volunteer Services teams, occasionally collaborating with the Franciscan Friars O.F.M. and the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Catholic Outreach and Partnerships
  • Manage and expand St Anthony's portfolio of existing and prospective Catholic partners to meet fundraising and engagement targets throughout the bay area region.
  • Collaborate with Development and Volunteer Services team to identify, track, and engage key Catholic donors.
  • Act as the central point of contact between the organization and various Catholic institutions, such as parishes, collaborating on shared objectives.
  • Expand parish and school outreach to support in-kind donations to support St. Anthony services. Including providing logistical and promotional support to community partners for drives.
  • Support the Executive team in recruitment efforts for strategic partnerships with Catholic institutions and organizations.
  • Identifies strategies for recruitment and resources needed to secure strategic partnerships.
  • Facilitate and host tours of St. Anthony's facilities for Catholic donors, volunteers, and other interested parties.
  • Conduct volunteer orientations and reflections for Catholic schools and parish groups.
  • Contribute to and execute various events for Mission Integration, both internal and public, to promote and reinforce St. Anthony's values and goals.
  • Represent St. Anthony's at various community and Catholic functions with the purpose of building connections and sharing St Anthony's mission.
Program Administration and Operations
  • Complete reports and all other paperwork neatly, legibly, and thoroughly.
  • Enter data and information electronically as required. Looks up data and reports electronically through a database as requested.
  • Understand and follow the organization's programs, policies, and procedures
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities to increase personal capacity to apply innovative approaches to daily workflows, service delivery, and employee engagement.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a lead development position or relationship management role.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a faith-based or Catholic institution.
  • Experience working in a faith-based or Catholic institution, desired.
  • Familiarity using Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, oral, and written communication skills are required.
  • Confident public speaking skills and experience leading presentations, tours, or orientations.
  • Ability or willingness to learn to use information and communication technologies (computers, smartphones, and iPads) to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information.
  • Accurate word processing and data entry skills required, such as typing, data entry and file management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, and knowledge of Salesforce CRM is helpful.
  • Ability to be punctual, reliable, cooperative, and stay team-oriented.
  • Detail-oriented, possessing good organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to competently handle and prioritize various projects and tasks in time-critical situations required.
  • Fluent understanding of Catholic language and culture.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the role of Catholic Social Teaching in connection with issues of poverty, addiction, and homelessness.
  • Commitment to St. Anthony Foundation's mission and values, the defining characteristics of Franciscan Ministries, and a genuine desire to work for a Catholic institution.
